  Qinzhou Port of Guangxi Province, one of the largest ports in Beibu Gulf, is soon to be extended. After the extension finished in 2010, the handling capacity of the port is expected to reach over 30 million tons. Meanwhile, port construction of Beibu Gulf (Guangxi) economic zone is expedited. The goal is to reach a 80-million-ton handling capacity in the year 2010. With its important geographic position, Guangxi economic zone is expected to become another fast-developing economic zone in China.
